Edelman India has a dedicated team focused on the development sector. Our experience of aligning and implementing stakeholder engagement campaigns and our team of experienced senior counsel in the development sector can help you develop the engagement needed for the success of your program.
Edelman India is currently engaged with organisations such as UN Women, WHO and World Bank among others to support research and strategy development. In the past, our teams have led the communications strategy and campaigns for non-profits and foundations like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Pallium India and the International Justice Mission.
Our work with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in India focused on carrying out their issues advocacy and communications campaign primarily around maternal and child health. We have supported the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, IPE Global and a group of development sector organisations such as UNICEF, WHO, BMGF, Tata Trusts and USAID to successfully launch a concerted effort to accelerate maternal and child health outcomes through the ‘Call to Action Summit 2015’.
Our work with the World Bank in their Water and Sanitation Program focuses on carrying out an attitude and opinion assessment of key stakeholders in the government, private sector, academia, media, and among influencers to help ensure the success of scaling up rural sanitation in India and ending open defecation. We are currently conducting a stakeholder research programme and developing engagement strategy for UN Women’s ‘HeForShe’ campaign across India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives.
We are working with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power Government of India, on a project owned by the UK Department for International Development (DFID). This project aims to put in place a wide ranging communications program to promote efficient use of energy in the country.
